GSL-SE Coil Wires to Distributor Cap

I have a question about the stock coil to distributor cap wiring on a GSL-SE. I was looking at mazdaverx713b 's photo of his white GSL-SE engine bay. ( https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/pic-stock-gsl-se-engine-bay-anyone-649312/ )

The photo shows the front coil wire running to the center post of the distributor cap. On my distributor cap the center post is labeled L (leading). I thought the front coil was the trailing coil. On my car the wire from the REAR coil goes to the center post. I checked my front coil wiring harness . It has a yellow/green wire on one post and a blue rubber boot on the other (trailing connection the way I read the wiring diagram). Which car is correct? Am I just looking at the photo wrong?

it does appear that way but it kinda looks like the wire from the rear coil passes under?

Over time these can get crossed up. Position is not important, wire color is. Download the FSM in my sig line and check your's.
