pic of stock gsl-se engine bay? anyone?
im doing an engine swap of a 12a to the 6-port 13b out of an 85 gsl-se. i just need some pics of the engine bay to figure out what i should do about the intake filter box and the mass air flow and where to mount stuff.
well it looks like i'm going to have to do some kind of after market air filter on it that stock air box is not going to fit there i'm pretty sure i would have to cut a hole in the side of the car to got that to hook up properly i guess ill get some kind of kit or something for that

Hey doc, why even bother keeping your cruise control pot and cable under the hood if you're just going to stuff the business end of the cable behind the winshield washer bottle instead of hooking it to your throttle body?
All you'll really need are the mounting brackets that bolt to the right rad support wall, the right strut tower, and the right inner fender. The MAF sensor and intake piping are free-floating, attached to the air box at one end and the DEI on the other.
I dunno why you think you need to cut into anything.

If you ever get down to Murfreesboro we have a GSL-SE you can look and take pics of. Also I have a GSL-SE that has after market air filter if you decide to go that route.
Also you need to come hang out with us.
