That thread will let you know everything to check so I recommend that you print it out for reference.

air, fuel, spark, compression.

Is your air filter clogged or obstructed?

Is the engine getting fuel? in the right mix? Is it not flooded?

Is it getting strong spark at the right time?

Does it have good compression?

Ignitors can be had a the wreckers for a few bucks each and usually 25-45 from forum members. There is a way to test them in the FSM, if you want to build the simple curcuit. Link is in my sig line.

Do you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key to the on position?
If so, did you pull off the fuel feed hose and verify that fuel is coming out?

If you were not getting spark but were getting fuel the plugs would be wet and the engine would be flooded.
