gsl-se 12a install

ok. so i have two cars. a wrecked 85 gsl, 12a carbed. with full RB exhaust system and header. 121,000 miles and runs and drives strong. And a perfect body gsl-se which had the motor sold out of it due to fuel injection problems but the car was on the street, so everything works.. so ive decided to swap the 12a into the gsl-se. all the emissions junk is still there on the gsl as well as air and power steering. when i swap it. i want it as bare as possible. i plan on painting the motor to match, so is there anything i should remove/modify on the 12a while its out? Besides the ratsnest and airpump, ac etc. is there any thing else engine compartment wise? I plan on keeping the cruise and power steering. any help would be appreciated.

rats nest works? keep it.

Why not get the RB intake for the 13B. seems like the eazier solution.

Yea it all worked. But I removed it because I didn't have time to switch harnesses. But it's in, it runs. Only problem is my fuel pump is a little over powering for it. But it revs so much quicker without the airpump and all that rats nest hoses. All that's left is bleed the clutch and brakes. And she's ready to go. And yes I would love to have a Holley or weber intake for the 12a but that's a little expensive right now. Oh btw I sold the 13b so no mods can be done to it ;(

car is done. i got tired of messing with the nikki. kept having little problems. so i made a custom plate to put a holley 450 on the factory intake. so now i have a pretty wicked little car. it drives around the block. has plenty of power. only problem is my brakes start randomly sticking. but ill get it fixed shortly. then tags title and insurance

the stock SE pump has too much pressure. just regulate it down to like 5-6 for the holley.

I guess I never mentioned the factory se pump was removed. I was running a Holley blue and couldn't get it worked out. So I got a friends mr gasket 7 psi pump. And I'm a lot happier. I plan on eventually getting a Holley red and be better off. I just ran the first 3 gallons of premix and I think I overdid the mixture because it blue smokes a little to much lol. Oh well. I dropped the clutch at 6500 and spun through second and chirped third. So ya this little 12a has some pep with a 4.09 rear end.
