Gsl rear brake replacements? NLA parts solutions.

Has anyone found a similar caliper from a different make car that fits? Surely Honda or Toyota has one that will work. The lack of rear diff and brake parts almost makes it worth looking into swapping rear ends like a ford 8 inch or something out of a smaller pickup truck.

A car with a similar size disk should have a caliper that works, but the piston size also needs to be similar so the proportioning isn't thrown off.

I didn't look too much into it, but I found a Honda rear disk that has a similar thickness and diameter.
There's a big span of years and models that use it so odds are good there's a caliper that can be adapted and easy to obtain.

I guess the problem would be finding one with the cable linkage to retain the hand brake.

The rears are out of stock. The problem with mine are the free floating pins that let the caliper move are worn out. Not the pins but the bronze bushing itself. Maybe I could drill them out and put new ones in?

Drilling and a pressing new bushing in should be fine.
