I've finished rebuilding my rear calipers and as usual I threw away the anti rattle clips because it seems like every set of brake pads ever comes with them. I'm just now finding out that they're discontinued and no new pads come with them for the GSL calipers. Anyone have a source on where to get new brake pad clips for an 85 GSL rear brake?

 

Rock Auto has two kits available for the rear brakes on an 85 RX-7. Both are aftermarket, but I wohld have no problem using them. If you want original brake hardware, I would post a want to buy ad here on the forum in the marketplace section. You can also try one of the 1st Gen Facebook groups and see if anyone has them available.

 

Honestly I feel dumb now. Looked on rock auto and they have a few sets for the GSL model. Ordered a couple just to make sure. Thanks!
