GSL air/fuel mixture screw

O.K.,,all you that get better than 13mpgs, could you tell me how many turns do you have from bottoming out the air/fuel screw, i know that it is possible that some run leaner/richer than others, but for the good gas milage drivers only ,i feel that theres may be set the same turns out,,,,,this is for the GSL model.......gotta be a way that mpgs can be improved......

Your right foot controls mpg's, not the IDLE mixture adjustment screw. The only way you can lean out your carb is to rejet it. If your mpg's are very low, check your compression, sparkplugs etc.

BTW, the screw usualy ends up being 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 turns out.

My GS would get 25-28mpg highway, true... but it would get about 9-12 in the city.

MPG also goes down drastically in the winter because you spend more the on the choke while the engine warms up.
