ground control coilover perches

hey guys, i picked up a set of eibach/ground control springs
on ebay from a pro 7 race car, but the guy didn't want to
sell me the actual spring perches (the coilover part) to go with
these 2 1/2" springs.

i have tried emailing ground control but don't get a response

anyone know of any other way i can use these springs with different
perches at all? are there any other setups that use 2 1/2" i.d. springs
or is the G.C coilover perch the one and only way?

well, i thought i'd try something....i picked up a set of coilovers for a civic, because the front springs from ground control, looked suprisingly similar to that of the civic springs, and the perches actually fit perfectly!. the only difference (visual) is that the civic springs are about 1 inch shorter than the G.C. ones for my rx7....

now i just gotta figure out how the hell to get these on my struts....

weld...yeah that sounds like a plan..

actually now that i look at these closer, there is 3 screws that are made to be tightened up against the strut housing, kind of like the way an aftermarket shift **** mounts to a shifter rod....

one thing that's bothering me is....on the factory strut, the top of the spring actually has a pretty wide diameter, and these ground control springs are only 2 1/2 inches, top and bottom. how do they sit at the top? this has been bothering me....

we had a threaded sleeve attached (by welding it to the stock strut housing)the actual spring percch is adjustable so you could set the ride height ..
we buy the sleeves from ground control

yes, i understand how they work, i was trying to figure out where exactly
on the strut would you weld the perch.....

another member pm'd me and said they can sit on the factory perch and
work that way...

i've been emailing ground control several times asking if i can purchase
the perches themselves since i already have the springs with no
response, so i decided to try the honda ones since they're so cheap anyways...the perch that came with the honda coilovers is very light, so
im not sure if it can be welded...i know nothing about welding. maybe its aluminum?
