haha. Congrats on gettng the car started.

Oh, and premarital sex is bad. Take it from a man who has it all the time, it is a downright destructive path.

And good luck on the getting laid this weekend. We all need some of that from time to time, lol. I know if I don't get my daily dosage of sex, you don't want to be around me at all.

what year wire harness is this?
there is a fat black wire which needs to be looped and instead of cutting the wires get some needle nose plyers and pull the pins out
get the wireing diagram off the fsm and follow it
took me a while to understand the diagram layout tho i was stoned lol

good luck mate

I dewired my harness for the Mikuni. Sat down with the FSM and depinned each wire from the main harness connector that I didn't need. The FSM shows how to depin wires without cutting them. You need a small jewelers flat screw driver. Iirc, there are only 4-5 wires needed, 2 of which go to the temp sender at the back of the wp housing. That sender controls the choke and is very handy for warm ups and will work even with the Mikuni.

And why are you not running the oil level sensor? You blow an oil line, you may regret not having that.

Wacky, my man of few words, nice visual post as usual. You should be in a good mood, or get laid, more often.

Well my engine builder put on the wrong oil pan and the oil level sensor is different on the 80 oil pan.

What's different about the oil pan? Is the sender/fitting itself different, or the wire connector? If it's the connector, change it.

It s complety different I would need to swap out the pan and its not worth it in my opion I check my oil level often. There is no way to put a 81-85 sender on an 79-80. I was told this has nothing to do with running the car.

Carb came off today and will be shipped out to trochoid tomorrow. Just got a pair of MSD coils I was thinking of installing. Can i put them in the stock location or do i need a bracket for them? Also gonna be working on depinning a wiring harness. Hope to get everything back on and ready to go before the first of the year.
