Gran Turismo 4 first gen
I just went and bought GT4 today and of course i was looking for an rx7 as my first car and i go to the historic used cars for sale and see a 1985 RX-7 GT-Limited and i was like holy ****.. I click on it and its a second gen. I was very dissapointed.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero was cool for like a week. The FB in the game is the GT-X Turbo (which nobody really has in the US).
Gran Turismo 4 is really starting to **** me off. They have 40 different kinds of ******* skylines but no first gens? I think they should do surveys next time of what cars to include.

no, whats worse about GT4 is that they have minivans and all these other lameass cars and there are much better cars they should put in there. for example an Fb or SA
I'm sad too..NO FB? They also didn't have my e36 M3 either, or an E30 M3 which to me are great historic cars.
however the game overall is better than i expected it to be ( and i expected a lot)> If you guys have an HDTV, hook it up and set the resolution to the maximum 1080 on the game, and it'll wow you

GT2 has the 1st Gen GT-Turbo... I have about 8 of them in different colours, and one completely race modified....
They're GREAT to drive, but don't have quite enough power for the top races....

did youall see that it says 85 rx7 though. I knew there wasnt going to be any in the game but then i saw that and got excited. Yeah i had all of the tokyo extreme racer games and i like them all. One thing that i liked is it had a lot more choices for upgrades then any of the GT series. They havent added anything new in the uprgades category except that you can get the same parts at different places but they are all the same and if you get it from one place, say HKS, its the same as getting it from mazdaspeed. I can honestly say that im dissapionted in the features of the game. I dont understand the point of the B-spec mode. All you have to do is set it on "push" and overtake and you win(if your car is fast enough). Ive only played the game for about 2 hours but ive gone and looked at all of the cars and have already found alot of errors. You would think with how long they took to make the game that they could have added alot more details other than more cars(ugly boxes that are all the same a few good additions), and a b-spec mode thats pointless. The only thing that i found truely new is the truck races.

I was really disappointed as well. How could they ignore such a great car? It's the granddaddy to all the newer 7s, and it also has a great racing history. Lets not even get into how it saved Mazda and the rotary engine...
That said, I still really like GT4!

gt4 has impressed me so far. it's impressive because they took a game that i have played for hundreds of hours and made it addictive again by making enough changes to be new but still retaining the basic things that make it gran turismo. granted i almost cried when i clicked on the 85 rx-7 and it was a second gen, but a 600hp spirt R and a 500+hp GT-X at WOT on the game put a smile on my face. the sounds of the cars are amazing. they did good, real good
GT4 is not realistic at all tho; i have an Acura RSX. in the game, it cant corner at 40 mph without losing traction and understeering like hell. in reality, i can do 80 around a 90 degree turn without a peep from my tires. same thing with the 350Z, even the track model sucks ***, in fact, its not realistic at all, the traction physics are way off and the cars they have are just duplicate models or slight variations on the same car; this game was a ripoff.
GT4 is starting to really **** me off. It's good a lot of the time, but some of the tracks are a ******* joke. Threre's one shaped like a guy bending over, another shaped like a moose or some ****, most of the rallys are ****(the penalties are really pissing me off, but I still beat all of 'em). They took so much time making it and it's still not much better than GT3.

just to let you all know there is susposed to be a 1st gen in the game. there are over 670 cars in the game. When you beging the game you only have access to 250 cars. keep checking the used car lots as they update as you go through the game. Just like GT2, duh! lol
I just went and looked at the official car list for GT4 and it says that there is a 1985 Rx-7 Savanna GT-Limited...all said...i dont know what exactly this car looks like (i hope this isnt the 2nd gen that is wrongly dated as a first gen)...so some feedback as to which car exactly everybody is thinkin was a first gen but turned out to be a second gen would be greatly appreciated.
