ASE CERTIFIED MASTER TECHNITION

undercar specialist,
Don't wave your ASE Cert. flag in anyones face- You don't have to show it off to compensate for your terrible grammar because your terrible grammar nor your ASE Cert. has anything to do with why I like conversing with you.
You do need thicker cyber skin, and the nit-pickers (...goodness!, - Is it "nit", or "knit"?), despite their pious condension (...had to look that one up, fellas) are really the most obnoxious ones here, as they wish to project themselves as being on a higher plane of education, awareness, or -some claim even- as being more considerate, when in fact they are trolling, and nothing more.
You were simply caught in Directfreaks troller, and reacted as hoped for so as to start a flaming ****-fest.

-It really is that simple. Anyone that holds grammar over content on such a forum as this, and is familiar with your terrible grammar is only opening your thread in anticipation of starting something.

-It's "grammatical".

I agree...Dankus stay homogenously rotory.

(Is that the proper use of the word "homogenous"?
-Is it "proper", or "correct" that should've been used as the adjective?
...Or "appropriate"?)

Dankus, you do need thicker skin - I am screwing with you.

That being said, take your time and re-read your posts before you press the "submit" button. Even if you screw up there's always the "edit" button afterwards.

We have several members on this forum to which english is a 2nd language. They used to type in all kind of crap with no worries of spelling, grammar, or syntax.

They realized that since we don't personally know them, all we have to go by, is their posts. We would think they are 12 years old, or didn't know what they were talking about.

Obviously, you being a Master Technician, you have alot of good information to offer. We would like to disseminate that information into a format that we could use.

So, again, please take your time, post properly. This is a Forum, not a chat room.

Thanks,

What you need to do is find a happy medium:

Actually, in your pathetic attempt to illustrate ****-poor grammar that a three fingered gimp missing his frontal lobe would do better with, you gave far more information about your idling problem than when you attempted to demonstrate "gooder gramer".

Hey Trevor, I actually like Buick-type muscle cars from the early 70's, afterall, I graduated from high school in 1970 (I have a certificate around here someplace to prove it). My Buick comment was just meant to stir you up a little because I love reading your posts. I do the same thing with Sterling, just say a couple of outragious things and you can set him off for pages of great reading. Watch this.

Sterling, it's "nit" (as it hair lice and nit-wit), not "knit". Also, it's "condescension" (as in what we never EVER do around here), not "condension". And it's "homogeneous" (as in what we would have if not for wonderfully idiosyncratic posters like you and Trevor), not "homogenous".

Now the good news Sterling, although you didn't pass the spelling test, you do get an A on your grammar test - homogeneous is indeed an adjective. Finally, just in case you're still reading and not typing already, I'm just kidding!

Yeah, hell. I caught that after I posted. Go figure. Could'nt very well go and edit it, cause everyone would know I was worried about my grammatical presentation!
...Goodness gracious, huh?

And it's "homogeneous" (as in what we would have if not for wonderfully idiosyncratic posters like you and Trevor), not "homogenous".
Ahhh...didn't catch that one at all!

Well, one outta...well....one aint bad, I guess.
(Can I get the extra bonus for good use of italic and bold highlights? )

Finally, just in case you're still reading and not typing already, I'm just kidding!

Here's my take to stir up the ant nest again...ps..400 cid Pontiac 450 rwhp...no ASE certification, whatsoever...

"...but, seriously, if you've been raised in America, then you must realize that the typed word here is a pretty good indicator of intelligence. Or whether you really care how you present yourself even beyond this virtual world. It's not all that hard to lay out text and make it correct. There really is no excuse for shoddy workmanship in the real world or here, when you think about it, if you are possessed of the proper discipline. And that's what poor diction here really speaks about. And if you don't have the discipline, why would anyone think you'd be capable of all the things you deftly smash out on the keyboard?"

If its readable, its good enough for me. I really don't care if the spelling is bad. I spell lots of words wrong. Good thing my grammer if pretty good. The ONLY thing that annoys me is when PEOPLE TYPE LIKE THIS. Some people often type whole posts with caps lock on. Its like they are yelling at you.

BTW, Buick Rulez alongside the 7.

Ahem, 85rotarypower, that would be "I spell lots of words INCORRECTLY", not "I spell lots of words WRONG".

I agree, spelling isn't important as long as you can figure out what a person is talking about. The only problem with bad grammar is that you start sounding like President Bush.

I wouldn't bring the stuff up about your grammAR, but you do mention that you are working it, so hope this helps!

I thought this whole topic kinda silly, slightly entertaining, but pretty much just pointless (not meaning to offend the english teachers, or the english students), until I tried to figure out what was being said in the above quoted post. I am left slightly confused, and a little more profane. (is that a word even?) I would kinda like to know whats got this guy so excited to swear and use caps locks like that, but in the end....I am just left with a head full of bad words....
