Thumbs down grammer police

i just wantedto apologize to the very well educated members of this forum that i continue to upset with my grammer, spelling andsyntax, it does not help that brain works faster than hand, and that space bar works only half the time, if its too much for some i guess ill have to take my rotary experiences and questions elsewhere, seems to me a couple years a go this forum was about comraderie and sticking together and having fellow enthusiast to share experiences with and heartache, ithink ivemade a mistakethis time, thanks to those who have helped me and taken the time to decifer my posts, i appreciate the time taken, as for the others sit and spin, when i get tired of fooling around with my 7 ill get my gs buick out and we'll have a spelling bee, can u spell DISPLACEMENT? how about 510 HORSEPOWER AT THE WHEELS< sorry for ranting it just pisses me off, thanks trevor,

Nice. I am most likely one of those English harrassers.

I am still not quite sure what you are "ranting" about, as I can only distinguish a large sea of loosely knit, disorganized information, just waiting and yearning to be assembled in proper grammarly fashion.

Dankus, Buicks suck. Stick with the 7. I don't mind your grammar. It's the displacement issue I have a problem with.

I think he's referring to THIS THREAD HERE, which is where I slammed out the "English ************" slam for the forum.

Dankus, you do need thicker skin - I am screwing with you.

That being said, take your time and re-read your posts before you press the "submit" button. Even if you screw up there's always the "edit" button afterwards.

We have several members on this forum to which english is a 2nd language. They used to type in all kind of crap with no worries of spelling, grammar, or syntax.

They realized that since we don't personally know them, all we have to go by, is their posts. We would think they are 12 years old, or didn't know what they were talking about.

Obviously, you being a Master Technician, you have alot of good information to offer. We would like to disseminate that information into a format that we could use.

So, again, please take your time, post properly. This is a Forum, not a chat room.

Thanks,

-The Architect from the Matrix

If people don't care enough to post a readable query, how can they expect anyone to care enough to help them?

Thank you Alex for chiming in. BTW, have you seen the site with all his great lines? My favorite is "What aint no country I ever heard of! They speak english in What?" or "Say what again!, Say what again, I dare you, I double dare you mother ******!, say what one more goddamn time!"

personally, I blame the standard keyboard design.

on mine the lettering is almost worn off the "backspace" key, it is by far the second most used key, and it is this LITTLE TINY button WAY up there. it needs to be a BIG bar that is as easy to hit as the space bar.

since the entire point of being here is to COMMUNICATE our thoughts, typing near gibberish purely seems to be saying, "whatevah!, **** you, I don't care. "

which hurts MY feelings.

Hey mod's can you guys look into adding a spell check? This really is not worth all the hurt feelings on either side, after all we're not in school or being graded here.

This may be a forum (and not a chat room) but it certainly isn't an Engilsih class - don't let the those who feel the need to correct your grammer / punct. interrupt you point of view. The very few people that **** me off are the ones that can't seem to find anything better to do on this forum than bitch about the very low priority stuff - unless, of course, this was an english class

The deal as I see it, for what it's worth:

Some people are better at typing than others. Some people know more about cars than others. Some people just plain love to put others down. Bottom line is, if you can tell what the hell someone means in a post, **** presentation, just post your damn reply, and be done with it.

IMMHMFO(In my most humble mother ******* opinion) For those of you that say this isn't a chat room, and then use **** like this all the time,

sorry guys . I got up this morning and had to wade through the kids to even get to the computer, then i get snottied again about how i post . really pissedme off, But then again i have a habit of holding everything in and freaking over somepetty ****. Sorry i promise to take my medicine tomorrow. lol Im ok know. I appreciate that some of u are intersested in what i have to say. Cause everyome is intitled to an opinion, rite or wrong thats what makes this the best country in the world . {sans BUSH of course} . I just had to realize that thecriticizm is probably more post whoring than actual caring, which is ok cause ive done it my self,
actually what made me feel better was theenglish professor who could not find thesparkplugs on his daughters grandam with a quad 4.
how about a lesson from trevor
a] DANKUS is a cross between a dipshit and a anus, originally invented to describe my step son . who cannot seem to be able to keep his 87 na on the road for more than a month at a time, or a job for that matter.

and careful ray green, the buick gs and the gsx's are two of the most powerful production cars built in 70 and 71, andmy 1971 buick skylark with the gs option and the 455 is kenne bell built 480 cubic balanced andblue printed 11.5 to 1 comp. With 610 lft roller cam, neil chance 400 trans , 373 gears detroit loccker, c clip eliminater kit. IT was built the same week i was born, it has tripled in value since ive owned it . I havent spent any money on it hardly. but then again it hasnt seen the road in two years. I have agreed value insurance from HAGERTYS for 16k for 170.00 a year. only thing i can think of that sucks about my buick is that the diistributer drive gear on the cam has got a tooth chipped off , bummer huh 400.00 cam, junk.

I'm glad to see that the few guys here with occassionally odd humor and those that don't know when to keep their mouths shut haven't chased you off. This is one resource that would be unfortunate for any rotor owner to lose.

Cheers
