Got my S4 alternator on :)

Hey guys, Thanks for telling me to go with the 2nd gen alternator, I'm very pleased with it. I went on a test drive and I had a ton more volts. My volts don't move down anymore(barely to nothing) when I turn on the heater, I forgot the stereo(won't matter I bet), headlights(brights), interior lights, everything except for the radio. It works wonderful. The seeler was crispyrx7, great seller. I posted a thread about him in good guy bad guy. Oh ya, I got it in a like three days. He's in Maryland too.

Yep just plug it in and it works. I will post more pics when I can find the camera, think my mom or sister took it. The S4 amps is 70, 20 more than the first gen, and you'll notice it too. If you have the money I would recommend the upgrade. I will get a couple pics of the rb torque brace too Nick.

its easy. ive did it a while back when my alt died. it took maybe 15 minutes to pull both alternators off (fb and parts fc) and install the good one, and its plug and play, no problem.

As long as it's an S4 alt, it's plug and play. Easier than Microsoft, lol.

Mainly because you know there won't be any blue screens of death, and it won't be forcebly obsoleted in a few months.

Yep, like stated above you jsut switsh them and plug it in. No change in wiring if its the S4 alt. I heard if its the S5 alt, you have to do some wire changing.
