It Gets All The Gas Out,. I Bought Car With Out A Tank So I Think I Put

I'm confused. If the fuel pump is wired directly to the battery it will be running even when the car is turned off. What pump were you using to pump the fuel from the canister? If the fuel pump is the proper replacement for stock it should not need a regulator. If it is a more powerful pump like a carter or a holley it will need a regulator.

If the fuel pump relay is working correctly the pump will only run when the car is running or starting. You should not hear the pump when you turn the ignition switch to the on position. If the relay is bad, then you can put a jumper wire in the plug. The relay is just above the steering column under the dash. It is a small round cylinder with a dark brown 6 terminal plug. If you connect either of the two Black/white wires to the Blue/white wire in the plug the pump will get power whenever the ignition is turned to the on position.

whats weird it was same a carter,. i had the line thats sucks gas and the one that sends back the gas in the can,i can hear the gas come back from carb cuz it was sounding like it was dropping, when i put gas tank on,
I put gas lines like this, you know the lines in tank,
the longest one to suck gas out and next to it the return and the stubby one for th breather, is that correct i hope i didnt mess up lines,, i dont think so,

You can download a Factory service manual, Wiring diagram, parts diagrams and other manuals at http://www.wankel.net/~krwright/cars/rx7/manuals.html.
The picture is an 84 GSLSE tank but the 84-85 GSL has a similar plate but a smaller fuel line. Don't be confused by the 83 GSL tank pictured they are much different. The small fitting is the air vent which should connect to the check valve near the tank. The middle fitting is the return line and connects directly to one of the hard lines going to the front of the car. The larger one is the fuel delivery line which connects to the fuel filter inlet side.

Tachometer gets it's signal from a Yellow/green wire connected to the negative terminal on the trailing coil. There should be two Yellow/green wires connected to this terminal. One comes from the distributor and the other goes to the tach. The trailing coil is the one towards the front of the car. If this wire is connected check to see if the trailing (top) plugs are fireing. If the igniter goes bad the trailing plugs will not fire and the tach will get no signal.
BTW Download the 84 wiring diagram it is a much better scan than the 85 and they have the same content.
