Got called a RICER because...

Well last night I was talking to my sister and her boyfriend and I was telling him about a car that my sisters friend owns (Honda Civic) and how he riced it out and my sisters boyfriend said "I wouldn't be talking, I mean you do own a RX-7 and that is RICE!". I was like WTF are you talking about? First off all, my car is stock, except for the CD player that I put in it. I then had to explain some stuff to him. So yea, just because I drive a stock RX-7. I'm now a ricer..LOL.

LOL, that would be an easy race, since he doesn't have a car.

So considering he doesn't have a car I'm assuming he doesn't understand what classifies a car as rice or not. Either that or he is a hardcore American car fan. I've been called a ricer just because I drive an import, and then in the same breath have the same guy say "A BMW isn't an import because a white person made it," because we were talking about cars I was looking at buying.

Well probably both. He probably doesn't understand what rice is and from what I hear, he is into jeeps and trucks and **** like that.

I was making fun of ricers one day, and a kid told me I was a hypocrite because I had a rice burner.

Rice Burner and Ricer are two different things, and I explained to him. Plus mine's a german engine.

Technically piston engines and diesel engines are German as well, as it was a German who originally developed them.

Actually Francois Isaac de Rivaz of Switzerland invented an internal combustion engine that used a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen for fuel. Of course it wasnt a very efficent design, it passed for a patent.

my definition of rice is a person with a slow car thats puts on a loud muffler, some racing stickers, tinted windows rims and tires and thinks he has the fastest car in the world, rx7 is far from rice, im just really anti-rice!

Just tell him that unless he feels like putting $20 on a race between the Rx and his foot-mobile he should shut his face.

Guess I've been a ricer for 20 years then......and I always thought it related to dumb add ons that weigh the car down for the sake of blingage.

My race cars are ricers under this theory.....hmmm, dumbarse alert....
