good news, bad news

well i will start with the good news.

my buddy came over today with his compressin tester over and guss what front rotor and back rotor was at 120 WOOT WOOT. another good new i got a new carb going to put it on tomarrow after i put my new gas tank on (read the bad news)

BAD NEWS

well when my dad was welding my back bumper. we took off the fiber glass and put metel. and we did not know that gas tank had big rust holes. (thats why there was no gas so that ment $10 of gas gone from a year ago) and so a spark from the welder went into the hole in the gas tank. well fire or sparks and gas dont mix well BOOM well not that big but it moved my dad 2 feet back and alittle fire started in the tank so we put it out. nothing is damaged my dad is ok he found it cool he went back 2 feet. but my gas tank is well no good but good thing i had a spare from a parts car. here is a pic of my tank.

I dont think I have ever seen a fuel tank that bad. Good thing it had all those big holes in it, or you could have had a big explosion. Glad to hear no was hurt.

thanks you can allways replace a gas tank but not a dad. but it would off been cool to see blow up

Next time could you please reduce image definition to something like 1024x768? Even the DSL connection slowed down for the one ugly pic I looked at.

or change the settings on whatever camera you are using from like L down to at least M1 if not m2.

The resolution for the pics you have is like poster size.

You can change then using microsoft picture editer or somehow in paint tho ive never figured that out

It's a good thing that tank had gapping holes in it like that. If a spark had found it's way into a much smaller hole, the "boom" would've been much bigger. Your dad could have had his ear drum blown out for a while.
