Listen I totally agree that the 7 is in a different class... **** performance wise they are great, appearance wise again great, and they are unique in the choice of power plant. But nothing says that we should not make our vehicles our own...

Again to each his/her own thanks for the input.

but my god 1st gen owners here are so anti-rice it's not even funny...
I don't think people here are anti-rice, as they are anti-non-functional add-ons/image oriented spending. Also, can you honestly say that wing is doing anything for functionality on the race track?

Can you say how much the car now weighs in at with all that stuff? My aim is always to keep the car light weight, and maintain enough ground clearence to not be concerned everytime I pull into a driveway or go over a speed bump, basically everyday driving. Also finally trying to be as anti-cop magnet as possible and not attracting rice folks to gather around my cars or stares. Its basically makes it more of a target for vandlism and theft.

How many people can say they are adding a body kit and a piece of aluminum as a wing AND are over 28years old? I think you'll find a very small percentage are.

Wacky thanks for the input. Like I said before I am 25 now, and as for the race track that is a future endevor. This is just a toy and possible to be setup for the occasional drag or two. When I do get serious the excess weight will be shed, for say autox.

Aluminum wing that is not. I know you realize that. btw if it makes a difference my wife is 22 and we have a 4 yr old son. This is really a way to express myself and enjoy time with the family. Both my wife and son love vehicles.

My wife plans to purchase a Viper in the future like 5 years or so. What a strange hobby car collecting has become.

As for the ground clearance thing I want to setup for the occasional drift as well and will have an adjustable suspension setup to accommidate it. The audio stuffs will be removable all around also.

I think those wings look good on a wide body car.....I think the problem is that everyone is putting them on a stock box car factory wheels,fenders,etc.... with a leaf blower attachment exhaust!!! Here is a nice one....oh yah and you can see me and my wife in the pic.!!!! Im the one in the blue shirt and my wife is the redhead, the pic. was taken at sevenstock last year!!

PS
Quit looking at that mini skirt!!!

oh yeah and not every one is a racer from the start, some progress to that like myself... I want to get proficient at tuning before spending to race and a daily driver with occasional runs at the track makes for an ideal setup for the initial testing IMHO

I like that carbon fiber wing, for the CF look, and the shape.

It's not just a "bench" like most aluminum wings are.

If I didn't have my pick up truck wing on my 7, I'd be ordering one of those.......or, unscrewing one from the nearest Honda.

Hey my opinion is that mini skirt looks great. I dont think thats rice at all, very sexy.

Oh wait, what was the question again? AHEM, well yeah. W/ a wide body that whing should look pretty damn good.

Any clue as to the muffler on that FD? I need one like that for my car.

Who makes the wing,

I does match perfectly with the back end

I would have to make custom arms though, those look like ****.

But the wing is perfect.

If you got the horsepower and the ***** to match up, its not rice.

You realize, of course, that the wing has to be that high up to be functional, right? If you drop it with shorter stanchions, you'll be dropping it into dirty air and rendering it solely into a cosmetic statement. There's a good reason you see all the World Challenge track cars based on production bodies with wings that are higher than even a F/F Supra...

I realize that it has to be high up to be in the clean air stream... the hp book "how to make your car handle" is a wonderful addition to the library of any car nut.

Thanks again for the input mar3.

oliver I'm starting to think yu are a closet case...
