I was just wondering if any 1985 GSL rx7 came with EFI???

 

Only the GSL-SE came w/fuel injection.

 

Nope the GSL has the 12A engin.

The 12A engin is carbed.

oh ok, I went to carfax and I entered my vin and it says it is a 12a 1.2 fi rotary engine Isent it suppose to say 1.1 carb. whats going on?

 

1.1 carb and 1.3 FI, dont believe everything you read. Carfax is wwwwwwwwwwwrong - that felt good....

 

12a is 1.15L
sometimes its rounded to 1.1 or 1.2L
thats all

My bad, 12a = 1.1, 13b = 1.3, 13b's only stock with fi. Go look at your under hood sticker for displacement. My -se states 40 cubic inches x 2. Cubic inch conversion is ci x 16.381 so 80ci x 16.381 = 1310.48 cubic centimeters move the decimal 3 places to get 1.3 liters. My gsl is 35 ci x 2 = 70 x 16.381 = 1146.67 move the decimal 3 gives you 1.1. Car fax is wwwwwroooong. They are a generic history for cars, they are bound to be wrong sooner or later.. Its cool, we all want the 13b fi.
