Just like the title say my cats are glowing. after a long trip found a lot of heat comming from under the car. then i notice i cool glow i knew that wasnt so safe. My question to u guys is why the hell is that happening im thinking 1 the cats r clogged or the car is running rich. Is the an immediate danger that should b fixed fast. Any trouble shooting ideas please share.

 

This was happening to me, but my exhaust manifold was also glowing. It was because my choke was pulled during warm weather. Check ur choke assembly and linkage, if it all checks out. It's probably the carb that needs to be tuned.

This might be a good excuse to get rid of emisssions...

 

Is the car running OK otherwise, or are there some performance issues present as well?
