Talking getting my exhaust.. TODAY

actually, right now..

my rex is in the shop right now getting hooked up. earlier today, me and my dad took off the manifold, all the cats/presilencers/whatever the **** else.. the muffler... ect. and bolted up my header. found a 2" flange laying around and welded a glasspack to it and bolted that up and wired the end up with saftey wire so it wouldnt put but so much pressure on the header bolts. we got done a little early, and i couldnt resist, so i went and drove it around that bitch is loud.. and a little quicker, i think my restriction now is my intake (paper filter than came with the car when i bought it) so a K&N is next on the list. im so excited. ill be picking her up in about an hour or 2. i went with 2.25" cat and piping, and a ractive dual outlet muffler. im hoping it wont be as loud as it was this morning.. but i guess we will see.

my friend didnt get over to my house till we were done so i didnt get any pictures, but i have my exhaust under my house incase i cant pass inspection. ill have to take a picture of the #1 cat. it had SOOO much **** in there, im really surprised it ran as well as it did.. i guess that explains the cough18.1 quarter milecough. im working this friday, but im going to try to get her back to the track to see what she will do. ill let yall know, and ill post some pictures when i get it.

also.. someone posted awhile back around the blocking plates for the air pump.. my dad had took off the air pump.. but the plates werent hard at all.. maybe 10 mins if that.

fuel pump? its all on the list of to-do's.. i figured exhaust was the best thing to start with

im $300 in the hole with my dad because of a muffler and the shop's work on my car for the exhaust, plus me and my girlfriend's one year, then x-mas.. so it looks like modding has had a decent/sudden start, but has to probably hold off untill x-mas (only pulling about 20 hours a week at $7.50 an hour) but after that... freeing up my intake, not just a K&N, me and my dad are going to "enlarge" that hole and its sucking cold air from the bottom of the front air damn, then eibach or racing beat springs, then those are going on with my kyb shocks and stuts.. then i might start working on exterior a little bit.. as far as paint (same color) and rims.
