Nice story though.

I still pat my 7 on the hood every time I go outside and pass her. Appoligize for hurting her and tell her she'll be on the road soon. I popped open a huge box from UPS yesterday and showed her the steering linkage, front sway bar, and fender I bought for her. It's brown, but she'll get a paint job soon, hopefully this winter. I'm so attached to this car for some reason.

No ****. Soon as I can find one that'll put up with the idea of my future home being an abandoned aircraft hangar, I'll latch onto her like grim death.

Dude, I had the exact same dream. My best advice to you would be to kill that dream now so it's not so painful when she kills it later.

i currenyly drive a first generation and im always being ragged on by my friends with their prelude h22s, type r b16 delso, type r b18 civics, and other random street cars. they always joking make cracks at rotors and i come back with a good one about pistons, but its all in good fun. i live with my bestfriend who drive an h22 prelude and he rags me probably everyday about my 1st generation and the rx7 has for some reason become his most hated car. i dont care what other people think or have to say about my car, cause its mine and im the one driving it and i am the one who loves to do so. whenever all the drama in my life is just getting to me i just get behind the wheel of my rx7 and drive. i cant think of anything that is more satisfying than when i am taking curves and just zooming around in my car. im not the most experienced person with car and the fastest thing i have ever drove is a beefed up honda, but nothing compares to an rx7 to me. i let my brother who used to drive a mustang, but has "upgraded" to a beefed up civic SI, drive my car one day and he loves it too. he said the way it handles and the powerband is just exhilerating. even after that experience he still seems to rag on my constantly about my car. it all comes down to it doesnt matter what other people think of my car, i cant think of anything id rather have than an FB done just the way i want it. i have some extreme ideas i want to do to some FBs, but they are a car that will always stick with me.
