getting the crud out

I was thinking of something I could use in place of ATF or MMO to get the carbon out of the engine, and I remembered that Chem Dip for carburators dissolved all the crud in my carburatorin like 20min. I bet that would work great for getting the carbon out of a motor. But it is also very corrosive to plastic and pretty much anything not metal. I guess my question is, is their anything the Chem Dip could screw up/dissole/corrode if I put it in my spark plug holes to de-carbon the motor?

Sure. I wouldn't want to see how that stuff reacts to the compression seals, or the oil control O-rings if it manages to get up there.
