Well there is the expensive SelectMaz setup, but hey Why don't anyone in the freakin' United States make a simple conversion kit? I have the Turbo II discs and calipers sitting in my garage waiting for someone with some metalworking skill to make a complete adaptation kit. I know there are people on this board who are capable of such a feat, and maybe if enough 1st gen folks show interest there could be progress toward a real product. WHO is willing to take this on? I will buy two sets from you when you do it, whoever you are....

This is one of the fabrications I am working on guys. right now I am still in the information gatering stage though. It won't be until I get my tax return that I will have the dough to start buying the parts. I will be attempting to use fc parts to keep the cost down.

Check out 7sOnlyRacing. They make a kit that will upgrade the front brakes. Check out the link and then look at brake upgrade.

That looks Beautiful! and expensive. I have emailed them for a price but that is probably out of my league for now. I am just hoping to Graft my Turbo II calipers and rotors to my 1st gen one way or another. I would be willing to mount the T2 calipers to 1st gen rotors/susp. by a custom perch , that could be cool.

Supposedly CP Racing was working on this, and was close to finishing it as well.

I would buy it as well.

Check this out too, I don't know if I would try and pull it off myself, but sounds economical at least.

supposedly cp has been done with this for some time a couple of years. I was working on this as he was a while back but instead of making a collar and spacer I was trying to cross referance another bering that was the corect size and would be easy to replace the rest is easy metal work making the brackets. ( if you have the tools) Its too bad every time some one does this they decide not to share the info or charge way to much. If they would just do a kit of the brackets and lines or adpt for the lines. let people supply thier own set of calipers and disk that would be great. as for all the bering data I was going through it was eaten by a virous as well as the computer it was on. but porshe had one that was almost right as well as toyota. Oh and j oliver was sopost to have cp's kit out before christmas.

There is a guy in Seattle selling a used big brake kit for a first gen. If you look at the past ads on The Parts Trader you can get his contact info.
Good luck

I'd like to get some info on this setup from the mazspeed site. Looks a whole lot easier, and could possibly provide even more braking power.
