i know that about a year ago, someone was selling some. they were white faces and had a rotor on one of the faces, and they light up red (i think, its been a while since ive driven my rx7) i will be working on it tomorrow so i can take some pics, but i dont know if it will help if they dont make them anymore.

You could look for stuff like Defi Gauges, they have a ton of nice (expensive X.x) gauges that you could make into a custom cluster ....

White face will only change the color of the gauge.
Custom gauges will allow you to do anything you want, but youll have to make a new baseplate, and it will always look aftermarket.

An 84-85 dash swap will give you a chunkier, newer looking (subjective), complete dashboard along with the more symetric gauge cluster that came in the 84-85.The only downside is there are only 3 colors......**** brown, puke red or dark gray......guess which one I like!

make your own! i used an autometer tach, with 6mm sintra (plastic) with oil press, volts, water temp, and a/f ratio, im still working on getting the gas gauge and speedo, although i might just skip the speedo altogether....who needs one anyway ha!

the op, wt, and vm all came from the neighborhood o'reilly and ran me like 35 dollars...well worth it imo- no complaints, white face, back lit, silver surround, work great, and i actually prefer their mounting style over autometers....

How hard would it be to fit in another cluster into the stock dash? Is this even possible?

I really like the STi clusters...:/

major project most likely, wiring issues too.

I kinda like the 83 dash setup. Better than the 84-85 setup. If you decide to scrap the 83 dash, drop me a line, I could use a spare.

Thats what they make SEM paint for. That's why I'm the only one with a Tan Se dash.

I have always like the digital readout guages myself.
