gas question...... no not a premix question

i have had an FB sitting for about 3 months now.... going to need a rebuild. The problem is it has a full tank of gas i was going to siphon out. Will this gas (not premixed if it matters) still be good to run in my SA? How long will gas be good for while sitting in a tank?
Thanks, Geoff

after 30 days, the molecules in the gas start breaking causing water to form and the gas is basically trash. happens alot in lawnmowers. Fuel stabilizer can slow it down but most likely still will burn like crap. you could try to add stabilizer and mix it with fresh fuel and you could probably get away with it.

It should be good enough.

What I do when I bring my jetskis out of stoarge, I mix the old gas with new gas and add some octane booster. Works fine for me. Then again they are jetskis not a car.
