I think i did this wrong, a little help??

hey everyone, i dont see a difference in my car since i hooked up my fpr no matter wat setting. this is y, i think i hooked the fpr on the return line i thought that since the check valve was there that thats where it was supposed to go but i dont know this is my first fpr instalment and i did it alone with no help or a search or nothing. so i was looking through my service manual as usual and saw the check valve on the return line wich is where i hooked up my fpr. Is this right, can someone help out. thanks.

The check valve is on the return line, and I removed my check valve, and replaced the entire soft line. The bigger of the two lines is the "feed" line and the smaller one is the "return". Hook FPR to feed line. Do you have an aftermarket fuel pump? If not, this may be the case as to why you arent seeing much of a difference.

Which fpr do you have. If it's the Holley, they aren't supposed to have a return line.

well i have a two sided speed demon, i dont know its probably a cheap brand but it looks as good as a holley, so the fpr goes on the feed line and remove the check valve, ok got it, no i dont think i have an aftermarket fuel pump, i think i have the stock one,ill have to check. i still have to get a carter. but all i wanted to know was if i did it wrong and i did, because the fpr goes on the feed not the return, thanks.

If you buy one from Summit, get the 8 PSI one, and not the 6 PSI one. Not that it matters really, because youll set the FPR much lower than that. I was just saying that since the price is the same (or close enough) to just buy the 8 PSI one. I got the 8 PSI and definitely love it.
