What do you get for gas mileage ?

Mine seems pretty good, but I was wondering about the average for first gen.

I get about 18 mpg........mostly just hauling *** through
the canyons......shifting when I hear the buzzer....I slow down when the radar detector goes off.........

This car is now my stress relief for work.............

I am fine when I get home......

18 mpg... redlining... that's pretty good... I get about
16.7-18 mpg... regular driving... I hit 18 when FREEWAY driving is heavy... I gotta get me one of those radar detector... GOT A TICKET for hitting 50mph in a 35.... I'M gonna fight this ticket... cuz the only reason I HIT 50 was do to a MOUND down slope... going down slope helped boost my speed to 50... EVEN the cop admitted that I was cruising 46-48mph... he said, they usually give a 15mph grace speed over the limit.... I'm gonna take a pic of that mound and show it to the JUDGE....

In the city I get about 15, when I say city, I mean there is a stop light every block! It really sucks!

There are several threads already on this subject. On a slightly worked 124rwhp 12a I get 28mpg on the open road averaging 65mph, dropping down to 22mpg on urban roads.

There is a great section in the owners manual on how to get good fuel consumption figures.

i get 15 in town...and when i was driving up from carolina (doing 80mph) i was getting 27 the whole way
the engine runs so cool on the interstate(doing 80) that when i pulled over for gas and put my hand on the housing it was barley hot

did your brakes go out admit you were speeding regardless... if you see your going ~10 over, hit the brakes, downshift.. something.. if your speeding, your speeding.

back on topic... i did the math one time and it was 21mpg.. some highway, some street, some spirited, some soft. a mix of everything. i actually gained milage when i put my exhaust on. i used to get ~175 to the tank of gas, after i got ~200-215 to the tank

I used to average 17-19 mpg; I don't know what I'm getting now either my gas tank or fuel gauge is messed up.
