I have a 85 gsl-se and my gas gauge isn't working. I fill the car up and it just stays on low. it only moves a little bit. has this happened to anybody. let me know what i can do to fix it.

 

I bought a new sending unit and when I went to put it in, I found the real problem was the connections. They were very corroded. I put the new unit in and all is well. If you are lucky you could probably clean the connections and get it to work.

 

thanks for the info. Just in case i need a sending unit, where can i get one?

 

I got mine from mazdatrix. I didn't check autozone or napa etc.
