Angry Fuse & Fuel Problems

It seems that lately the same fuse keeps blowing out which momentarily leads to me losing fuel to the carb. Kinda seems like it's happening if really drive the car kinda hard, a few minutes later the fuse blows and yea. If you're looking straight at the fuse box under the steering wheel its the fuse on the left row 2nd one closest to the front. Tried putting a stronger fuse didn't help. This has happened about 8 different times within the past 3 weeks, including 2 today alone. Any ideas?

Fuel pump may be failing. They often get very hot before the end. It may be causing your fuse to blow.

Check the fuel pump relay. Under dash fastened to right side of steering column. Plug has 6 terminals. 2 Black white wires, a Black yellow, a Blue yellow and 2 empty. Jumper wire between Black white and Blue yellow will send power to fuel pump when key is on.

This fuse also supplies power for all the emission solenoids, switches, sensors etc. including the main control box.

Here's a picture, this shows which fuse keeps blowing. I'm not sure what you mean't exactly by the fuel pump relay wires.

That's the fuel pump and emissions fuse. The fuel pump relay is a small round component that is bolted to the right side of the steering shaft under the dash. If you jump the Black white wie to the Blue white wire in the plug the relay is removed from the circuit. If the fuse stops blowing with the wires jumped then the relay is the problem. I'm thinking the fuel pump is slowly dieing. How hot is the fuel pump when the fuse blows?

Update:

So the fuel pump and fuel filter was replaced and everything seemed to be fine for about 3 weeks. Just yesterday, got in the car and tried to start it, dies out. Fuse is blown.. couldn't believe it. So wtf, is there just something in the tank that keeps pushing out crap into the lines/fuel filter every once in a while? Should I just drop the tank and clean it out completely?

Replace it with the largest fuse you can find.

I'm kidding. You may have an intermittent short somewhere.

From my experience, if the the pre-pump line or filter plugs, the engine dies and does not blow the fuse. If the pump overheats, it may blow the fuse. Next time the fuse blows, feel the pump for overheating. More likely suspect is corroded wiring, creating too much resistance or a frayed wire that's grounding out
