Funky/Scary engine sound

When my car gets to about 4500 RPM a funky kinda groan like sound happens? Should i take it super easy on my car? Or is this because the rotor is spinning super fast?

Mine kicks in hard at 3000RPM, below that they kick in, but it's not as forceful. Then again, at 5000RPM and above, my power drops off dramaticaly and it vibrates badly at 6000RPM. Might be my flywheel. I'm not done troubleshooting my 13B yet.

Isn't there some sort of honking noise that an emssions device produces? Or was that at idle? Just throwing questions out there.

mine does that at about 2500 when i have a lot of load on it (in 4th gear and trying to accelerate or something).

Does it happen and go away quickly or does it happen and keep happening until redline?

Just to clear it up it was the air pump, it was disconnected and was making crazy sounds.
