fuel pumps in parallel

Do you think 2 stock fuel pumps in parallel would work well while I save up for a higher volume pump like a carter or holley? With 2 stock pumps in parallel i would get the same fuel pressure but twice the volume correct?

so it would work? The work is no big deal. I have the time. I just want to know if it would keep my car from starving for fuel at the top of 2nd gear and over.

if u want to run it parallel, then get the 2 facet pumps (6psi). racing beat used to sell it for dellortos back in the 80;s but dunno if they still do. its a good idea to have a constant flow.

I didn't think I had it sitting on the shelf that long. Now that I think about it, I moved in September and it was installed at my new house...criminy, I had that thing for almost a year before I installed it! Time flies when you get older...sniff, it's so very true! It was definitely a Christmas gift, though, I know that for sure. It must have been Christmas 2000....
