Fuel pump problems help me please!

So I cannot for the life of me figure out how to disconnect my fuel pump. I have it off but it has a hose and a wire I can’t disconnect. I have a 84 rx7 gsl.

Just the bins or the metal plate around them Bc I tried to get the plate out and it’s a pain in the butt.

To add some clarity - to get to the Fuel Pump connector, open the driver's side bin and you'll see it's ringed by small black self-tapping screws (about 10 of them). Remove those screws and the door will come off, followed by the fabric bin liner. The bin liner is fairly heavy material, so you may need to pull and crunch it a bit to remove it, but it'll come out. Watch for the small wires which operate the light in the bin, and disconnect that once you can get behind it.

With the bin liner removed, you can just look down in the metal frame of the bin to see the rubber plug where the Fuel Pump wiring comes in, along with the white, 2-pole connector. Unplug it, push it through the rubber plug out the bottom and you're golden.

Mazda designed the fuel pump (wisely) so that the connector would be well-separated from the fuel pump itself in case one of the fuel lines or the pump started leaking. This prevents a spark from the connector or grounding to the frame or pump from igniting the fuel spill and causing a fire.
