fuel pump problem.

hey i was wondering where i could buy a replacement fuel pump for my gsl-se.
i tried to get one from lordco the local auto parts place but it was like 230$ or something, so i was hoping there was a better place to get one from.
i live in vancouver, canada by the way.

Or you can pick up a Carter pump and Holley Regulator off Summit.

Still look into Summit Racing, they are not expensive and very fast deliver, they have a website, request a catelogue with your order.

those are in-tank pumps, the SE is in-line and yes walbro is overkill for a stock SE.

Power Aids - there's not that much volume to worry about when you remove fuel lines, mostly it's residual pressure which causes it to squirt out in all directions when you first get the hose off.

Have a rag handy and around the hose as you remove it and you should be fine. Either that, or wait about 1/2 hour for the pressure to bleed off and then it won't shoot much at all.

BTW, shooting fuel from the lines when removed is a good thing - it means your fuel injectors aren't leaking.
