What's the point of having another filter right after the fuel pump?

I'm running two filters. One before the pump (stock filter), and one after (a filter from some other car that fit great)
But you already knew that lol

Nice... that's where I have mine.

Don't see the point in running a second filter right after the pump though. If anything I'd put one in the engine bay right before the regulator.

The carter is a nice pump. A Holley Red or Blue will work fine for the street. Holley's do make noise; be sure to use rubber gasket between car and pump.

Some people's encase the pump in a metal box to reduce noise if they're sensitive to that kinda noise.

A Holley Red pump should work fine. I got a 114gph Holley Blue in my car and it worked GREAT on the road race track all the way up to 9000k 12a streetport. Less pump for street.

I used a Carter and then a Mallory. I have the Mallory mounted right behind the Driver-side storage bin and its not too loud. Still can hear it at idle. The Carter was irritating most of the time mounted on the frame rail. But, a trip to the friendly carwash molested it and I got the Mallory, so alls well.

When I was a carburated guy, I had the Carter and I liked it. It wasn't too loud and it is smaller than the Holley, thus easier to mount anywhere.
