fuel injection to carb problem
First off, the stock fuel pump is going to be too much for a carb, too much pressure. Maybe there's something that was disconnected in relationship to the FI that isn't alowing the fuel pump to work.
I think that rxtasy3 is on to the cause of the problem. The fuel pump is set up so that it is only powered while the car is running in case of an accident. The fuel pump on an SE is kicked on if the AFM detects incoming air. Since, now you do not have an AFM, your fuel pump is probably not running. Also, you will need a fuel pump and regulator designed for a carbed system if you didn't do that already. You will probably have to rewire the fuel pump so that it comes on when the ignition switch is in the on position. This is how it is on the 12A engines. Good luck.
