Fuel Injection for a 12A
I'm wondering if anyone has ever set up a fuel injection system for a 12A and if so how involved was it and how much are we talking?
Thanks
FYI: I did look around quite a bit and was surprised to find nothing on the internet.

Fuel injecting a 12a is fairly easy, but expensive. There are a few companies making carburator replacement throtle bodies with the Weber foot prints and the Holley foot prints. Using one of those with the matching intake manifold and the computer from Simple Digital Systems (because it is usually the least expensive but, any stand- alone will work) and then adding in the misc. sensors a fuel pump and injectors, and then factor in a "few" hours to have it tuned and your done. You can leave the stock distributor, or you can swap in a crank angle sensor from a 2nd gen and have the computer control ignition as well.
All in all you will most likely dump more money into the fuel injection setup than you purchased the car for. My oppinion is that if you are not going for an "Ultimate Street 12A" setup stick with a carb and learn how to tune a carb when the weather changes, You might have more fun that way.
