i would say its an odd question? i would imagine that other 911 bumpers could work, but it would depend on the style.
the 911 is more rounded in the front too

Yes, if you have Amemiya Isami san to fit it to your RX-7. Literally anything fits with this one simple trick.

_________

Story time-
Reason 935 reproduction bottom front valence has been moulded into FBs, FCs and FDs is because they have provisions for the 935 "fog" lights which are Porsche factory night racing lighting solution.

These bumper lights were deemed to be the only/best road legal lighting solution for racing on the Tokyo Bay Aqualine/Bayside loop (known as Wangan).

Why would a Japanese street racer care about having road legal lighting when they are breaking the law driving flat out racing on public roads?

Midnight
The Midnight auto club was a secret group of Wangan racers that held eachother to a code. That code seems to have included being as safe as possible, obeying as many laws as possible and not attracting undue attention.

Im not claiming anyone was or was not a member of Midnight.

Amemiya san has some good stories
I heard one about keeping up with a certain Porsche factory modified 930 in a rotary swapped Chantez kei car.

I remember them being listed on Anniversary Racing Factory's site, they're not repurposed Porsche parts but specifically for SA/FBs with provisions for the front and side marker lights.
Though anything can be made to fit with the right skill and tools.

935 bumper

I've been looking for these bumpers forever, I searched very intensively today and am now almost certain that these are 935 replica bumpers that are not intended for the Rx7.First of all the aftermarket 935 style bumpers I found look almost the same as the ones at these rx7's.
https://www.9xxteile.de/porsche-935-...W7S62JOZmzhRdO

The only diffrence I saw is that they are bent outwards towards the wheel arch, the 935 rx7 bumpers are straight in this spot.
But then I found some pictures of unpainted 935 rx7 bumpers:.

And I noticed, they all had to do bodywork in that spot, so I am almost 100% sure that this is the Porsche bumpers that I found, or maybe a aftermarket Porsche bumper from an other brand.

Were they originally made by RE Amemiya or Auto House TBK?
Either way, does anyone have a 3d scan of this style of bumper? I'm interested in trying to make one.
