Free online database for repair manuals 1945-2004

I got this from a guy at work. He said they want you to use this or the funding for it will go away, so burn it up guys. Wiring schematics, repair procedures etc, its like Mitchel's online for free.

goto www.publiclibrary.org
click on electronic databases (left hand side of the screen)
Click on Auto Repair Reference Center (kinda on the right side of the screen)
User Id: lib
Password: access

Select year, make and model you want, and enjoy.

Print out repair procedures, wiring schematics etc

Very nice link, reminds me of Alldata, but free... are we sure this is legal? Actually who cares, but this should be stickied or put in the FAQ for sure!!!

Sticky it here, in the FC and FD sections, Gen Auto, and the Lounge.

EDIT: Holy ****, there's legal reference, health reference, animal refernce, a database on novels... Never have to pay a late fee again!
