Found source for rear hatch latch decal

I've been working on minor details on my '85 RX-7. I found a supplier of the decal on the rear hatch latch. The logo on mine had completely faded away. The decal looks great, it was only around ten bucks, mailed from Australia. It looks like they don't have many left. Here's the Ebay link.

It looks like a good decal. I wonder how thick the lettering is and how well they hold up. Thank you for sharing the link!

They are not very thick, but look great. I asked my auto body guy if I should coat the latch with something but he said the decal should be fine the way it is.

Yup this is a great product!

I think he started making these a few years ago, I bought off ebay from the same seller and it has held up really well.

What I should have done is remove the hatch latch all together, removed old paint, and repainted it. I think its an aluminum casting that gets a bit rough after the years.

Just place carefully so it lines up with your original letters. Its an exact match not sure how he got it that close.

I bought the same one a while back and also found a seller in the US making them and bought one also from him because my hatch base got scratched after painting and install...

The one on top is the one I bought from the US seller and as you can see is a little bit smaller that the Australian counterpart....

The U.S. made deals are smaller than the original decal? Wonder why they would make them slightly smaller? Does it make any noticeable difference on the striker?

The only difference is that it's smaller.....if someone doesn't know won't notice it when they look at it...

The Australian one is an exact match. It fit perfectly over the faded away one.
