Found someone to install my diff pumpkin.

The guy told me i need clips to hold the axles in im lost dont know much about the diffs in rx7s. I read online about c clips or something like that . I have a big axle gsl diff. Where can i find these clips ? Are they needed? Thanks

You don't need clips. The axles are held in by a retaining plate that presses against the bearing (and dust shield).

If you opted to replace the axle bearings, don't forget to buy axle new seals and retaining collars for the bearings (I have made this mistake before).

I just did this last week, no clips needed. The backing plates hold the axles in place.

Your mechanic has never heard of YouTube? RX7 rear ends housing are like Ford 8 and 9" rear ends. And yeah, axle bearings and seals while you are doing this
