Found an 80 Rex

Alright, I changed my mind. I like the VW's, but not as much as the 7's. But I found an 80 for 2500, but can talk him down to 2000. The car is in excelent shape, and just hit 100,000 original miles.

Should I get it, if I do I will most likely be picking it up on Mon. Thanks again for all of your opinions. I hope to be back with a new rex soon.

sounds good if every thing is in great shape.

altho not to put any bad thoughts in the air. some people that own shops, or ar friends with people that won shops can be shady and fix things half ***. just to get rid of it. i know from experiance.

but if he sounds nice and the car is good. id say go for it. stay with the 7!

So long as you are satisfied that the car is well-maintained, then 2k is a good deal. 100k miles is not very much in the grand scheme of things, and we all know that the 12A is good for many more miles.

yeah, i'd say go for it if everything is good. drive it for like 30 minutes though to get a feel for things, and see how it is all the way to redline. my friend's car smokes at high rpms, so you might not notice something like that in a test drive.
