I like the second ones, too.

Definately not in my budget, but I'll be watching this for updates.

Found them. http://www.yaskyatv.com/prod/wh/allwh.html Is it a good idea to run atv wheels on a car. I know the Rx-7 is light but...... hmm.

They'd probably fall apart if they got curb rash.

I doubt they have the beading neccessary.

These are actually made for ATV's.... So I don't know if the offset will work with our 7's and they might not be strong enough to handle the weight and power of a car. Here is a link to the manufac. website and a website selling them for $372 for a set of 4

I wish I could have more faith, some of the wheels on that site look killer. Who's gonna be the guinea pig?

car wheels are just forged alloy just like those, i see no reason those would have any kind of weaker structure... now will they clear the brakes and hubs...

I would try them if I knew they wouldn't bend as soon as you drop the car on them. $370 isn't bad

the inside diameter of these rims looks to be pretty big, the rim being only an inch or so thick would leave 11-12'' on the inside of the rim

I"ll shoot them an e-mail. Who knows ATV's may be the answer to all our wheel woes. Just have to turn the other cheek when the guy with the YAMAHA banshee keeps looking at your car wondering what is so familiar about it.

I don't know about these. They don't really look strong enough, and they are also meant for a tubed tire I believe. They likely won't work, and even if they do hold a car, I wouldn't use them for anything but show.

i like this one, only weighs 7.5 lbs.

but yeah, i'd say they can't handle the weight of a car. probably fold under as soon as u hit a turn.

The weight alone suggests they aren't nearly strong enough. Even the lightweight Kosei K1's are 10 lbs heavier.

I'd venture to guess that these would hold up to our cars. ATV wheels take some serious abuse and have no issues.

and they are also meant for a tubed tire I believe
No, they're a tubeless and if you've ever tried to break a bead on one of these wheels; it takes alot. you can corner an ATV on asphalt with no air and it won't pop the bead, I know there's a weight difference, but there's alot of force there.

I'd be willing to try them, if something happens send them back as I'd assume they're under some type of warranty.

Racing wheels aren't DOT approved either

Go ahead and test them, I'm interested to know. The results could honestly go either way, poorly or well.
