These are late market japanese and all-market european mazda spec mirrors for the RX7. There was a manual version, basically on a ball pivot like the US ones, but big and rectangular; and the ones shown in the pix above, which are electric and just "plug and play" onto the US car's doors and harness. Very similar style to the 80's Porsche mirrors. Nice mirrors but rust inside like a bastid - I have a set and had to entirely dissassemble them, powdercoat and rebuild them..

Yup, those are what I have. I got them from a friend I visited in Germany. They also provide a much better field of view than the US-spec mirrors!

It amazes me how expensive good mirrors are these days... and so few fender or door mount models available. ( Most nowadays in the corner of the side window )

Nice tip, did you know that M3 mirrors from a BMW E36 will fit? Just needs a little sanding. The triangular mount is almost the same as the RX, and a little bit of fiddling will make them fit!
