FMIC almost done...

well I have almost finished the front mount intercooler. All that I need is the t bolt hose clamps that should be in tuesday. My old set up used the factory intercooler from the 3rd gen, which had to have ductwork running to it.

Looks nice man. What tranny did you use? If you used the FD tranny, can you take pics of the mounts?

I'm closing and installing the engine next week and the the car will be sleeping for another 3 months until I get back From NY.

As soon as I get back, I'm taking the car to "Rolo" in Orlando to tune the Microtech.

I saw you wanted to buy a standalone.

Great deal:

Don't you worry the "stock" rad will not be enough for the engine?

that front mount is going to drastically reduce the efficiency of your radiator......not trying to hate. i would just be a little tentative with it until you prove me wrong. which i fully want a expect you to do.

yea, The guy selling it was actually trying to get me to fix it for him...lol... I then told him that I didn't have any time and that I have to many other projects. Before that I already did a compresion check and figured it was some thing with the fuel injection. Thats when i gave him $700 dollars, and about 2 hours of working on it...viola its running. The interior is assome and it only has 105,050 miles on it! I could probably sell it for well over 1,800 as it is, but it drives like a new car so I think I am going to keep it.

By the way I thought I had some more detaled pics of the intercooler set up, but they where not in my camera. Basically what I did was take a 3 foot peice of L bar and cut it down and notched it so it would fit in front of the radiator. Then I took some flat aluminum bar and made two suport straps for the top that whent from the intercooler too the holes that i made in the sheat metal. I will try to take some pics in the morning.

sweet, sounds good. If the body on that se is nice, you might be able to fetch 3,000 for it on ebay. I have seen a couple gsl-se's sell lately with that kinda milage on ebay. One sold for 3,800 and one for 3500. I can't believe the prices se's have been going for lately on ebay! Seems you will make more selling it on there.

yea, ebay would probably be the way to go if I am going to sell it.

Here are the more detailed pics... you can see where I notched the L bar and where I mounted the top suport straps.
