"that is by far the most horrible primer black "paintjob" ive ever seen"

-rotary_sex

rotary_sex, I think that was the idea. Sleeper means no one is paying attention while you are going faster than them. It's a Stealth thing.

I kind of like Yayo's approach to automobiles, he leaves rubber all the way out the drive way. Not my cup of tea, but fun to watch.

I know you are refering to something in particular, but I can't think of what it is. Little help for the brain fade here please.

i did mine flat black, but since it was getting cold i only managed to get one coat on, then the car sat til a few days ago, i plan on putting a few more coats on asap.

so far i like it, works better than my old shitty paint atleast. will look a lot nicer once i have my polished LE wheels on.

Not too bad for flat Paradox..
Im still not sold on painting mine flat black but that Satin black is very nice! What is involved in painting that (satin) on? Rattle can or air gun? Easier or harder to paint..? If I get a nice set of rims I would actually think about going down that path next year when I repaint my car.

i see flat black as a alternative cheap method until a proper job can be done.

personally i will be renting a spray gun and mixing up some paint, and doing it properly soon enough. however "flat black is the new chrome" - SCC

hehe

Yeah, I've got the issue where they rattle can their project STI.

I think it looks pretty good myself, as does your paint job Paradox!

I'm totally going to try this out in a couple weeks.

My friend got an SE with a mismatching hood and fender. So he painted it with Hercu-liner.

If your wondering what it is.... the rubbery truck bedliner stuff.

dammnnnn yeah i forgot about that! I saw this issue, beautiful freakin STi. The paint turned out great. They said to take the cans and put them up-side down in a bucket of HOT water so you get more pressure out of the cans.
