Fixed ignition problem. Low voltage

Today I fixed the trailing ignition problem that was preventing the car from starting. Turned out to be a trailing ignitor. So it starts up perfectly now, but I'm noticing that my voltage guage is reading about a volt lower than it used to.

Now it's between 11.5 and 12.5 where as before it was 12-13. Why on earth would it decide to do this now, or what I did to cause this.

Thanks in advance.

That thread has many different issues in it. What was the exact cause of your voltage reading problem?

Also on the ignitor swap. Did you remember to put the paste on the back of the ignitor when you installed it?
