when switching to the holley fuel pump and regulator is it nessasery to remove the restricter check valve on the return line?


this is on an 85 gs w/ nikki carb w/o emissions and w/ mech secs & AP mod

 

this is my setup, holley blue and holley fpr, ive searched but didnt find any info on the restricter check valve and cant tell from the pics i saw in the archived threads if they still have the valve in place.

the problem im having is the fuel preasure keeps wanting to climb up to around 10-12 psi on my gauge

 

Holleys do not have return lines unless you are using a return style fpr. If so, then remove the restrictor.

 

alright ive removed the restricktor and no more flooding as of yet.
