I want to say more than likely. I've seen dash swaps between series 3 and series 2 cars before. Other than the bumpers in 81, the chassis are all pretty much the same.

except for color/upholstery most of the non dashboard parts, like A and B pillar trim, and the trunk trims are all the same between 79-85, which is nice.

Yes, they'll fit. I can confirm as I have done this.

Tip, be careful when removing. If you wreck the clips when you remove them it'll be hard to get them to fit back into the new car correctly. Also be careful for tearing the cheap particle board they're attached to, that can also be another issue that won't make them mount right.

Since this car has the rear wiper and 12A, this must be a GSL model. If it has the rear end with disc brakes I would get it if I where you. Those are getting harder to find.

Grab. The. Taillights!

NLA from Mazda and Mazdatris wants $350 for just the right side. Being modular, the lenses can be swapped for reverse and brakes, though the turn signal lenses are specific to the side. Those look to be in good shape.

alright talked to my dad, he manages the junkyard, he won't crush it, but if you know people that want parts off it PM me I'll see what I can pull off, take pictures and work out a deal with the owner of the yard I'll do all this monday so get the word out. I'll probably be keeping the rear end for myself but windows trim and anything I'll catalog for you.

Sweet. Didn't know the tail lights went for so much. Grabbed the only one off the donor car I had, I knew that it was a good idea to keep it... might as well anyways since it was being hauled off to the junkyard.

Well, I'm obviously interested in the tail light assemblies (*as long as they're not cracked on the outside). Let me know if you can get those and what he's wanting for them, and I'll pay reasonable shipping to 85086 (Phx, AZ). Thanks for opening this up to forum members, as that's a cool thing to do for a relatively new member here. Take care,

I'd also grab the front turn signal housings and covers, those are getting harder and harder to find as of late.

If you're willing to sell them, let me know, I will need one. I could also buy both if you'd rather sell as a pair. No pressure.
