Thumbs up First generation Die Hard

I NEED RIMS?! anyone have a solution for the god forsaken 4x110 rims i've got an 85 rx7 gsl. fun car but parts are hard to find...for anyone looking to mod their intake and exhaust look at rotary shack's weber wrap around intake w/carb system at www.rotaryshack.com and racing beats full racing exhaust system at www.racingbeat.com if anyone has found somthing better just leave me a post or check out my site for some good links. http://members.cardomain.com/rotofire
Also the flame throwing is true! i was amazed and the little rice burner driver **** his pants....it was great! any ways to shoot flames out your tailpipe RD your car and then let off once the tack reduces to about 4k stomp it again and watch everyone's reaction.

I have the RB exhaust on mine - I love it.

As for the rims, I know what you mean - seriously hard to find. Tirerack.com has 2 listed for ours, but I haven't done any research... mine needs too many other things before we get to those...

There are the Panasport rims which are avaliable in 13"-16".
And there are the Kosie K1's that I have on my car.

I think those are the 2 best looking wheels on the FB.

seriously, did anybody ever make the same bolt pattern as our cars? i think it was just an sa/fb exclusive. most of the rims that make it for our cars sell for more than a song and a dance.

You can custom drill, but the hell with that - talk about bank.

Maybe I'll do the SE swap next year- kinda like the idea of LSD, ya know? And then there's a bigger selection of rims.

No, don't think I'm doing the 13b swap - I fixed mine, everything seems to be good now. I was only going to do the 13b swap if mine was shot.

Stop threadjacking, this is about Rotofire's need for sexy rims.

Roto, have you thought about swapping your rearend & hubs for ones from a GSL-SE (they're not 4x110)? I hear it's fairly easy, and like I said it'd give you LSD & a wider selection of rims.

yea, lisa is right. the se conversion would give you 4 discs, lsd, and 4x114.3 lug pattern which is a lot more common than the 4x110 we're stuck with.

You can always settle for the American racing (ARE) 13" 5-stars, light weight, but reverse dish can cause rubbing on the quarter panel if the tires are to big. xSquid7

There was another car with the same lug pattern. I don't know the year(s), but the Subaru Brat had the same pattern. I only know this cause a friend of mine saw a Brat with the stock four spoke first gen wheels on it. He talked to the guy about it, and was told they bolted right on.

I'm realitivly new to the site and haven't got the lingo down yet, so what is FD I know FB is fast back but what is LSD? shouldn't i be able to shoot flames with a FB by RD the tach back off to 4k and then stomp it back to RD? that's what a guy told me on another site....anyway i've heard about and thought about doing the se hub switch but i have to find some se hubs first and i don't feel like putting that much extra work into it just for rims i'll work on getting hp first then i'll make it look good. Anyone know the kosie website? i asked jeeves but he said he dosen't know. so what other hp mods can be done besides intake and exhaust with haveing to port the engine and go into that mess.
