You know all those things are important, but I also added a for sale sign which I put up a couple of times in frustration. I always wondered what would have happened if I carried a stick of dynomite!

I got one of the smallest cellular phones made. I got it just for my car
qt of oil, qt of brake fluid, cresent wrench, phillips and flathead screwdriver, stock jack + spare, and a cig lighter powered air pump. I probably should carry more, but **** it, the bin isn't big enough and my amp is in the other
Bin's only carry the necessary fluids (keep in mind, this is AZ desert and water is hard to find),
gallon of antifreeze
gallon of water
brake fluid
power steering fluid (yes, it's an SE)
2 quarts of oil
small bag of chips
In the rear hatch area, underneath my Mariah hatch, is a small, laundry-type basket that contains the following (and I'm not kidding here...)
Spare radiator hoses, upper and lower
4 feet of heater hose, various sizes
hose clamps, all sizes
jumper cables
box cutter
spare belts, all of 'em
clean T-shirt, gloves
flashlight
toolkit (containing most of what others carry)
Fuses, lighter, anything small that gets thrown in that might prove useful.
All this stuff is due to past experiences with an 80LS and this 84SE, and any number of other instances where a pinhole leak in something left me stranded and low on fluids. It may seem like overkill, but when I'm working under the car, and notice that my lower radiator hose is leaking - I replace it. Next trip to the auto parts store gets me my 'spare' back in the hatch.
I was a boyscout growing up and learned a thing or two. "Be prepared."

I have been driving my 82 for 3 years now, and it has never left me stranded on the side of the road. (it has done some limping home though)
the only tool a have in my car is a tire pressure gauge.
